Import opportunities

The cheapest and simplest positions to import from a given country.

How this ranking is calculated
Entry cost
Import duty plus parafiscal tax, as a percentage of the customs value. This is the part that is never recovered.
VAT, kept separate
Charged at the border but deductible for a VAT-registered importer. Folding it into the entry cost would distort the comparison.
Excise, flagged only
Excise duty is a fixed amount per unit, never a percentage, so it is flagged rather than added.
Rate from a country
The best rate among the agreements covering that country. Where no agreement covers the position, the common-law duty applies and the row says so.

An informative estimate based on the rates published by the Customs Administration. The duty actually owed depends on the customs value accepted, on proven origin, and on the final tariff classification. Selling price in Morocco, logistics and competition are not taken into account.
